As part of our 5 Year Origin Green Biodiversity Target and All Ireland Pollinator Plan commitment, we have launched a new KSG initiative, "Happening Day", scheduled for every year on 31st March.

 

Rare species of Irish pollinators are disappearing due to the loss of semi-natural habitats & common species are declining in abundance. This naturally harms the sustainability of Irish food production.

 

As part of our Happening Day, we are taking steps to prevent this decline by creating a natural habit to protect our Irish pollinators and raise awareness of the importance of Irish biodiversity throughout the country.

 

We collaborate with our clients and customers to plant native Irish wildflower seeds every year on the 31st of March to create an area of meadow that blooms during the summer, creating a beautiful habitat for pollinators.
